Naren had the honor to present her portraits and research at Harvard. She presented to students and faculty, emphasizing the critical conditions of minorities suffering from invasions in Northern Syria. With each portrait, she shared the stories of survivors. Her documents were displayed to humanize the ongoing erasure of religious and ethnic minorities in the region.

During the presentation, Naren had the honor of speaking to the paramount role played by Kurdish women in the relentless fight against ISIS across Iraq and Syria. She shed light on the challenges faced by these women in societies dominated by patriarchal norms, where threats of honor killings, misogyny, and religious extremism loomed large.

Professor Mehmet Kurt hosted an exhibit of various photos and archives on Kurdish life and culture. Naren had the honor of having her portraits displayed at the institution.
